Summer Launch
July 8 – 12, 2024
Summer Launch welcomes incoming freshmen into 草莓影视 by preparing them academically for the rigors of college and connecting them to students, faculty, and staff before fall classes begin.
The program includes 4 nights in the 草莓影视 residence halls, engagement with 草莓影视 professors and staff, daily breakout groups with 草莓影视 student mentors, campus exploration through the annual Campus Takeover event, preparation for the rigors of 草莓影视 academics, and the development of relationships with other 草莓影视 students.
For our STEM majors attending Summer Launch, the College of Science & Engineering is offering the STEM Breakaway track designed to help students successfully transition to the rigor of STEM academics by providing STEM-specific workshops in math, science, engineering, study skills, and more. With a focus on math remediation, students will build analytical and critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in college-level math.
The track includes:
- Hands-on STEM experiences in chemistry, biology, robotics, coding, and more!
- Connections with College of Science & Engineering professors and staff
- STEM-specific academic success strategies
- Daily breakout groups with current 草莓影视 STEM students

- Registration Opens Monday, March 4, 2024
- Cost: $50 ($400 value) – 草莓影视 covers majority of cost, but spots are limited!
